Abstract

This paper explores the connection between a performer's stage voice and movement, drawing from participation in the Artistic Research and Creation Project (PICA) titled "The Word Moves: Spoken Chorus, Sound Improvisation, Direction with Signs, Acting, and Movement" conducted in 2025 as part of the Universidad Nacional de Río Negro. Through a research-creation approach, various materials such as logbooks, photographs, expressive scores, and theoretical notes are examined to generate knowledge. The methodology involves observing, documenting, and critically reflecting on the artistic practice itself, fostering a dialogue between experience, creation, and artistic thought.

Isadora Cáceres Sáez, National University of Rio Negro

Actress, Professor of secondary and higher education theater, Teacher in primary and secondary schools in San Cristóbal de Bariloche, Río Negro. Advanced student in the Bachelor of Dramatic Arts program at the National University of Río Negro, Master's candidate in Performing Arts at the National University of Rosario.
