Abstract

Abstrac: His article aims to address the stage dramaturgy work carried out in the play Animales en el techo (2004) (Animals on the Roof). This solo performance premiered in the city of Tandil, starring Jerónimo Ruiz and directed by Paula Fernández. The text was written collaboratively by Fernández, Ruiz, and Juan Santilli. We are interested in reflecting on the rehearsal process, understanding it as the space in which a network of diffuse associations comes into play, evolving into concrete discourses, materials, and procedures. In other words, we propose to explore the relationship between writing the text and writing the stage performance, weighing the trials, errors, understandings, and discoveries that are part of the fabric of the work.
