Procedures of the documentary object and biodrama in the artistic practice “I hate being a person”
Keywords:
object theatre, biodrama, documentary object, personal archive, stage creationAbstract
This proposal aims to share the creative process generated from undergraduate thesis research in Arts in Performing Arts with a focus on Puppet and Object Theatre (UNSAM). It focuses on identifying and systematizing stagecraft techniques derived from biodrama and documentary object theater. The work explores the creative elements that emerge from the intersection of these two aesthetic and stage approaches, developed from the outset in terms of direction and dramaturgy, and constantly engaged with the aforementioned theoretical perspectives.
