¿Qué es la sombra?

Abstract

El teatro de sombras contemporáneo necesita de nuevos interrogantes para expandir sus búsquedas creativas más allá de tecnicismos redundantes. Existen muchas interpretaciones ancladas en patrones legados culturalmente que se han sostenido de manera incuestionable, lo que ha llevado a falsas especulaciones en torno al concepto estético de la sombra y su posterior desarrollo artístico. Se pregunta sobre el ser de la sombra e indaga en la otredad que construye. Su concepto otorga presencia a la sombra desterrando toda manifestación de ausencia, pretende así darle autarquía en relación a la luz, para así buscar su identidad fuera de los conceptos binarios que durante siglos la han catalogado desde la religión, el arte, la psicología, la antropología. No presenta una verdad como respuesta, sino que genera preguntas que abren nuevas posibilidades exploratorias para pensar la sombra.

Lic. en arte dramático (UNCuyo); actualmente cursando la Maestría en Teatro Especialización en Dirección Escénica (UNICEN) y el Diplomado de Dramaturgia (INTeatro/UBA). Dramaturgo y Director Teatral, integrante de la Compañía Pájaro Negro de Luces y Sombras.
