The contemporary of the contemporary: the indisciplinary nature of art in the public sphere

In the modern scenario, the artist was asked to create his work in processes with diferent degrees of detachment from the world. With the establishment of collective and collaborative artistic practices that advance in the mundane world, however, traditional positions based on precepts of self-referentiality and self-centering of art are abandoned, while these collective artistic practices also reveal significant transformations in the constitution and in nature of art. Thus, in this process that brings down barriers and approaches art and life according to parameters invented from the end of the autonomy of art, it is possible to perceive the beginning of the collapse of an idea of art founded on premises that close themselves. Admiting that art advances toward the mundane world in processes in which the artist shares the responsibilities of creation, we are faced with questions that we seek to address in this article: how can art and artist advance in unfamiliar scenarios once which has traditionally been suggested to them to avoid this world that materializes beyond the world of art? How can the artist advance towards the world when, traditionally, it has been suggested to him/her that his place in the world was just a place outside this world that manifests itself in the real? What about the artist, historically educated to face the world from his/her universe? There are many doubts that are ofered to art and to the artist in the contemporary of the contemporary.References
