Which policies for Art Sciences: Towards a radicant cartography

Abstract

We propose a characterization of Art Sciences and its difference from other scientific fields. We justify the need to return to the ontological question, inextricably linked to the epistemological question. We exemplify, through theater studies, the existence of different scientific constructs, from various epistemological bases: Theater Semiotics, Theater Anthropology, Theater Sociology, Theater Philosophy. Some guidelines for a present and future policies of Art Sciences in Argentina and Latin America are proposed.
