Abstract

The artistic phenomenon we discuss describes itself as related to a particular region, which refers, decidedly, to the Pampa. In the affirmation of this trend, their most representative artists will talk about the influence of weather and geography and will choose mostly, the milonga “campera” (related to the countryside) as the musical substratum of said region. Each musician presents his own particularities and his respective focus about Pampa and milonga, however, the cultural antropophagical conception about space and time, will keep them in dialog, with each other, with other regional artists, and with nowadays expressions of the music in the world. In this way, through this Pampa poetics we can listen, internationally, new ways and routes of cultural integration between Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay.
