Crítica e Desafios à Historiografia da Arte Neoconcreta

Abstract

This article aims to reflect on the issues surrounding the notion of the Non-Object, understood as a challenge to the construction of a historiography of Neoconcrete art. It is a theoretical study based on a qualitative approach and supported by bibliographic research, with emphasis on the theory of the Non-Object formulated by the poet and art critic Ferreira Gullar. Throughout the text, a brief analysis is proposed of artworks that engage with the dematerialization of the art object and the redefinition of the object within the context of contemporary art.
