Lazos de sangre: Theoretical references for the construction of the dramaturgy of text and space.

Contemporary theater has not been confined to a playhouse for a long time. Playwrights, directors, actors and artistic groups develop their proposals in urban public spaces, approaching the city as an object where it is valued, through art, citizen participation, history and the production of public space. The scenic art, thus, functions as a platform to activate the common space of the citizens. This work collects and systematizes the research-creation process on the intervention of public spaces in Valparaíso, Chile, and which results in the dramaturgy of Lazos de sangre. We focus on the first part of this montage, which refers to the previous research and the theoretical references used at the time of the dramaturgy. The second part, as a direct result of the first, examines the implementation of the concepts of dramaturgy of text and space.
